Terms of service

Last updated: September 28, 2026

SCOUTCARD is operated by Yash Sahoo and Toryn Ibarra in Virginia, United States. Questions about the service or an order can be sent to scout.card26@gmail.com. These terms describe the conditions for using SCOUTCARD's athlete profiles, messaging, and physical cards.

Age and accounts

You must be at least 13 to use an account. If you are 13–17, involve a parent or guardian and obtain their permission before providing information or publishing a profile. A parent or guardian should handle purchases for a minor. Do not submit a profile for a child under 13. SCOUTCARD does not currently provide a verified parental-consent service.

Use an email you control, protect your sign-in links and card activation codes, and contact us if someone accesses your account without permission. Do not access another person's account or claim their card.

Your profile and content

Provide accurate information and identify your achievements honestly. You retain ownership of your content. You give SCOUTCARD permission to store, process, and display the content as needed to provide the service according to your publication choices. Only upload or link material you have the right to share.

Publishing makes your profile available to anyone with its link. You may edit or unpublish it by saving your choices in the profile editor. Others may retain copies they already viewed. See our privacy policy for information about storage and deletion requests.

Recruiting and messages

SCOUTCARD helps you share information. It does not guarantee coach interest, recruitment, scholarships, offers, or admission. Athlete information is supplied by the athlete, and people sending coach messages are not verified by SCOUTCARD. Check who you are communicating with before sharing private information or making commitments.

Do not impersonate anyone, send spam or harassment, publish private information without permission, submit unlawful material, or attempt to bypass access controls. We may restrict accounts or remove content when necessary to address abuse, security issues, or violations of these terms. You may contact us to ask for a review.

Orders and physical cards

Review the product description and total shown in checkout before paying. Saving delivery details alone does not complete a purchase. Contact us if you believe a payment was taken without an order confirmation or an order is incorrect.

A card's NFC chip and QR code open a web address. Internet access and a compatible phone or QR scanner are needed. Activate the card with the private code supplied with it. Keep that code separate from the public NFC/QR link. You can update a saved profile without replacing the card.

For cancellation, delivery, defective-card, or refund questions, contact scout.card26@gmail.com with your order reference. Do not send payment-card numbers or activation codes. These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

Service availability

Access can be interrupted by maintenance, internet problems, or service-provider outages. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent hosting, or that every phone will read NFC. Keep your own copies of important profile information.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using SCOUTCARD, unpublish a profile, or request deletion using the contact in our privacy policy. We will update this page when terms change. Material changes affecting existing accounts or orders should be communicated before applying them; updates do not retroactively change the agreed price of a completed purchase.
